Hermes, New Bond Street
Tapestries and bundles of wool made to look like grassy landscapes. This detail looking like something from under the sea. Much better description and photographs here

Work Lunch

My work schedule at the moment means that my favourite market haunts, once frequented almost daily, are now very rarely visited at all. While this is probably a good thing for my wallet, I do miss the bargains. That is until today when an ice cream lunch break ended up looking like this
 Happy again.

Courts

I now have more snakeskin items of clothing in my wardrobe than you can shake a stick at (actually only 3 things but it still feels quite excessive)
They're much nicer in real life... I promise. They look here to be that in between high and low height, which is my absolute worst.
I've been wearing them with baggy rolled up stonewashed denim jeans - I like how that vibe looks like you were kind of playing dress up for the day and chanced across an outfit that really works. Never to be worn with black opaques.
Yours if you're quick from the Primark sale for £6.

I am finding it really hard to part with this beautiful fur collared coat, sourced for One Off while in Cornwall. See it in full here.

Camborne, Cornwall

I am in Cornwall at the moment where it is currently so windy that I've had to wedge the front door shut with my DM. Yesterday marked a trip to Camborne, where there was many a picture worthy sight:
I almost got fleeced of my money:
I remember a phase when cool cats wore fleeces with stuff like a howling wolf and rising moon on it, in a kind of ironic Native American/Pocahontas way. This shop in Camborne is definitely the place to go to pick one up at a bargain price - or to get your own take on that trend, puppies anyone?
This really weirded me out:
A shoe horn back scratcher. Look at that mini plastic hand! The guy behind the till also waved me goodbye saying, 'GOODBYE MY SWEET'. Which sounds quite nice but it wasn't really, and it sent full on shivers down my spine.
 It's probably because I'm such a:
Trips to Camborne are too few and far between. Always so much to see.

Mixed up Menagerie

I was killing some time in Notting Hill last week, and spent ages looking round the £2 Retro. I have no idea how the shop keeps going - probably as a result of the Retro sister shops that sell things for a lot more than £2. There seemed to be a lot of animal related things for sale - Jungle coffee cups, cat and dog printed metal trays, lighters with sea shells suspended in the glass.
I didn't buy any of the above things. I did buy this for £1 though:
Genuine 1960s handbag apparently... I really don't think so, but I love it.
