Muted Neons

Love the brightness of this clashing green and pink sari, and the printed fabrics either side... Bethnal Green road is always inspiring

BTS Skinny Jeans

Looking back through old photos and came across this from a favourite shoot of mine, with beautiful Mari - you can see the final results here. It must have been a while ago as I am squeezed in to some black skinny jeans - it's been years since I've attempted that.

Shirt

I love this Vintage shirt of my Mum's which I've been wearing for years now. Sensing it probably had a good story behind it, I text Mum... 'I bought it in Valencia, Spain in 1978 on the docks'. Well that is quite good isn't it.

Lemons

We have a glut of lemons so I've been trying to think of ways to use them... that isn't just in my gin... Preserved lemons and lemon curd so far.

Wild Swimming

An hour's drive East from the flat - a much needed cool down in the river near Chelmsford. The kind of day you wouldn't believe actually happened when living through midwinter!

The Lonely Londoners

'The Lonely Londoners' by Sam Sevlon is a brilliant book about the arrival of the Windrush Generation to the UK and specifically to West London. It in turn inspired me to seek out pictures from the time - various documentary photographers were drawn to the area. I grew up in Shepherd's Bush and spent a lot of time in Notting Hill and Ladbroke Grove so both the book and photographs are especially interesting.

Souvenir

Back in London with treasure found rooting around in a discount bin at a junk shop. I now love this that unhelpful amount which makes using it a little nerve wracking in case I break it.

Windbreak

A cloudless day in Cornwall last week - rewarded after my first solo drive down to the South West. I like the idea of being an intrepid road tripper...

Outdoors

Social distancing has unexpectedly lead to a new styling opportunity... Camping last week in Cornwall... quilts and cushion made by Mum.
