Jam Jar

Pre Lockdown 2: Dinner outside at Ciao Bella. The 3 of us hadn't seen each other for a while - and Min bought these homegrown flowers from Hertfordshire, complete with jam jar, as a belated birthday present for a friend.

Burst of green

Gorgeous belated birthday card in the post last week - really brightened up a drizzly day and turned thoughts to sunnier times!

Favourites

Two of my all time favourites, especially together

Cat Lady

It was my birthday recently and I was lucky enough to get some wonderful presents - one of which was a multi pack of socks, with this kitten printed pair as its crowning glory

I didn't wear my jeans pushed up like this all day but I was tempted.

Dee's Heart

Really love this heart and key clasp on Dee's necklace, and was reminded today of a pair of earrings nowhere near as nice that I bought months and months ago on Brick Lane... Must remember to try and dig them out.

Wishful

On Tuesday I was in St Margaret's for Hermione's birthday, which included a massive fire outside (which was so hot I thought I could constantly smell my eyebrows singeing) and lots of paper lanterns.
This is a rubbish picture of a Frida Kahlo frame/picture resting against a huge moon-shaped candle. Daisy had just come back from Mexico and was laden down with Mexican gifts for Min. Couldn't help noticing that the evening was dominated by spherical shapes (fire place, candles, lanterns). Too much?

Pheasant

These pheasant were strung up outside a pub by the river in Hammersmith this afternoon. Apparently the longer they hang for the better they taste after cooking.....hm. Such great feathers. We didn't go into this pub, but another near by for a drink to toast the birthday girl:
Happy Birthday, Mum. xx

Nails

Charlie unintentionally matching her new nail polishes to our refreshments while charity shop shopping yesterday. I have been the Queen of nail polishes recently, dishing them out to friends near and wide for birthday presents and so on:
I got this selection for Rosa recently, as well as a red jewel version of my beloved cross from the market.
