Tessa, who has a penchant for loafers (the shiny ones in the photos below were a 21st birthday present to her), must have been on the mind today as I bought these woven leather loafers for £2 pounds today from a shop in Notting Hill. On my way home to Shepherd's Bush I stopped at the market to buy some kind of ribbon to join the missing bit between the leather loops on the front.. I settled for grey snakeskin but was tempted by the purple snakeskin, sequins, plastic hearts and silk ribbons. I'm glad I didn't go there...

adolescent wall
Used to be obsessed with tearing things out of magazines. This was my bedroom wall when I was about 15.
What's She Like?
This is a blog for people who find clothes fun, but like a lot of other things as well. It aims to be something to fill an empty 5 minutes in your day with colour and pattern, and hopefully offer some inspiration for those who are bored with their wardrobes. My experience stems from endless hours trailing musky, dimly lit clothes havens and charity shops manned by old ladies with the finest of crocheted cardigans, and from reading fashion, art and interior magazines left by the bath at home for as long as I can remember. Hope you enjoy it.
