Outdoor Life
A week in Cornwall catching up with family, and making the most of living outdoors! No one knows how to make the most of things quite like my Mum...

Master Bedroom
Interiors inspiration: the master bedroom at Palacio de Santa Coloma in Seville, via World of Interiors magazine. Travelling by proxy... I searched very hard for this image online - with no avail. Proof that sometimes print publications are best!

Patchwork
About a year in the making... I've finished my patchwork quilt! I am hugely proud and have been sending pictures to everyone I can think of. I have collected fabric samples and scraps and also embroidered parts...

Piecing together some fabric squares for a patchwork quilt that is very slowly coming together..

WFH Colleagues
I've spent today working through a very comprehensive list of tasks I've been putting off for weeks... and realised that while I'm missing colleagues on set, I'm far from alone. Good sign is - I haven't started speaking to them. Yet.
On a separate note - I love this portrait of Elizabeth I, by an unknown artist painted in c.1600. So many styling tips!

Souvenir

Back in London with treasure found rooting around in a discount bin at a junk shop. I now love this that unhelpful amount which makes using it a little nerve wracking in case I break it.

Patchwork
A morning spent sifting through my sewing bag over the weekend and gathering bundles of fabric together for potential quilts. I collect fabric at any opportunity - which makes for quite a mixed selection of print and colour. Charity shops often have brilliant scraps of vintage fabric, but of course Shepherd's Bush market (the motherland) is hard to beat. Two quilt options below.

Sofa

So many things to moan about with a huge white leather sofa (it came with my furnished flat), but at least it's big enough for me to cover with various thrifted and homemade throws and cushions. My recent granny square blanket is a favourite charity shop purchase.

Pink Ritz

Having a lovely time in the loos at the Ritz last year for my birthday - I would deeply mistrust anyone who doesn't agree this interior is fabulous.

Of a theme
Painted oyster shells used as markers at fisherman shacks at Leucate Port, puffed up meringues in the market and early morning shadows in nearby Narbonne - the French know how to run with a theme.
