Easter Bonnet

Easter bank holiday is fast approaching and I am counting the days til I head to Cornwall to spend some time doing not very much at all. If only I had these Easter bonnets from a party shop in Westbourne Grove to celebrate with
 
This feather boa trimmed hat wins hands down
 
Apparently making easter bonnets represents the tradition of wearing new clothes at Easter, fitting in with the theme of renewal, re-birth etc...
Great excuse for a new spring wardrobe?

My Easter break is almost over and I am packing up to head back to London after a blissful few days in Cornwall with my family.

Almost

Easter is just around the corner... Or so I keep telling myself. I will be in Cornwall over the bank holiday weekend with my family and already looking forward to a repeat of last year, and of more idyllic sights like this:
Very happily, I don't have my dissertation to write this year though. Can really concentrate on the egg hunt instead.

Spring Buds


Back in London for the Easter holidays. Holiday being the wrong word really, just a casual 12,000 word dissertation to write in 2 weeks. But, snatched moments like this in Molly's garden - Catherine and Rosa doing a good job of coordinating cups with their outfits.
